Has anyone else noticed this large of a shipping time on their recently shipped eBay Standard envelope shipments? One of these 35 shipments is going to a customer of mine who is literally 27 miles away and it shows a tentative delivery date of 2/12 and again I shipped this on Monday 2/1. While overall I feel this new service is HUGE for us sellers, I am not sure if it will be worth it to drop to a 1 star rating for shipping speed. I just sent out a damage control message to all of these customers to let them know USPS is experiencing high shipping volumes, but is that really the case? I sent a standard stamped envelop on Monday also to a friend in Florida (I'm in Minnesota) that got to him on Thursday 2/4, so I'm puzzled to what is going on? I do understand that we're still in the middle of a pandemic and by default things are still not running at 100%, but is this shipping shipping speed to be expected moving forward? I feel my 5 star shipping speed will significantly fall after all 35 of my shipments that used this service this week are delivered. All 11 of the tracking numbers show almost 10-12 days to deliver. 5 full days to go 7 miles from my local post office to the sorting facility. If you believe your shipment was lost in shipping, you must wait 15 days after the shipping label is created to file a claim. With that being said does anyone actually have the posted average shipping times for this new envelope service? I shipped out 11 envelopes on Monday 2/1/21 only to have them scanned into at our local USPS sorting facility today 2/6/21. Each eBay standard envelope shipment includes a 20 shipping protection plan on single item orders, and up to 50 on combined orders, to help in case of lost or damaged items. While this service is very fast it was obviously not cost effective for a buyer to spend say $1.50 for a card and $4.00 for shipping.
